1. Connect your Oakboard while holding the PLAY and PREV buttons to enter Programming Mode. All buttons will flash 3 times and remain on, indicating Programming Mode.

2. Click "Rescan MIDI devices." If an Oakbaord version 1.6 or later is found in Programming Mode, it will automatically populate the table with the currently programmed MIDI data on the connected Oakboard. Any discovered Oakboards not in programming mode will blink the stop button and remain in normal operation mode and can't be programmed.

2. Select the desired MIDI channel you want the Oakboard to transmit. Only one channel may be selected for all controls.

3. Select either Notes or CC to determine the type of MIDI message the Oakboard will transmit. Only one type may be selected for all controls on the Oakboard Mini. By default, the Slide Duo uses CC data for the faders and Notes or CC data for the buttons.

4. Select whether or not SHIFT will be in use. If so, the bottom button will stop transmitting MIDI data and instead will become a modifier key for all other buttons, effectively adding 4 additional notes or CC messages that can be used for MIDI mapping.

5. Once all MIDI data is set, use the "Upload to Oakboard" button to program your Oakboard. If programming an Oakboard Slide Duo, be sure to program both USB-A and USB-B.
